British Summer time has officially started, so make the most of the warm weather and light evenings with a summer stroll in the beautiful Shropshire marches.

Visit boutique hotel Fishmore Hall which is situated opposite Ludlow’s idyllic Clee Hill and surrounded by never-ending greenery.

The stunning Georgian House is currently running Nordic Walking activities for guests to take part in. The guided walks take place in the Mortimer Forest, located just five minutes from the hotel and are suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

Fancy walking at your own pace instead? Why not “Go Exploring”  and indulge in one of Fishmore Hall’s scrumptious hampers including the deluxe hamper starting at £18.50 per person which includes homemade cake, scones, biscuits and tarts and fresh gourmet sandwiches, with a selection of drinks.

After an active day of walking and exploring, enjoy some much needed relaxation at Fishmore Hall. Each of the 15 bedrooms have been individually designed with luxury and comfort in mind; with each one offering a bespoke pillow service, huge walk in waterfall showers and double-ended baths, stocked with luxury Molton Brown products; transforming your bathroom into an individual spa experience.

All that walking conjures up a big appetite; so guests should definitely indulge in the wonderfully fresh and imaginative cuisine created by Head chef David Jaraman. The range of locally produced food served at Fishmore Hall is best enjoyed in the new 2AA restaurant, “Forelles at Fishmore” a light and airy orangery that boasts scenic views of lush green fields towards Clee Hill and the beautiful Shropshire landscape, including the walks participated in earlier that day.
