Biosphere Expeditions Taster Days

Ever wondered what it is like to be a wildlife conservation biologist? If you are keen to find out in just one day, then Biosphere Expeditions could have what you are looking for!

Its ‘Taster Days’ are just what they say they are: a day designed to give you a unique & personal insight into what it will be like in the field with Biosphere Expeditions - assisting scientists with wildlife research and conservation.

You will be taught expedition and wildlife research and conservation skills such as working with camera traps, radio telemetry equipment, and GPS, and will work to collect important animal data, reading animal tracks and signs on the way. You will also learn about the National Park you are in, its fauna and flora, history and the conservation work going on inside.

The ‘Taster Days’ are being held in The New Forest on 26 June and the Norfolk Broads on 17 July.

For those who take a liking to the lifestyle, Biosphere Expeditions then have full-blown conservation expeditions all over the world too.

The cost for the day is £65 per person; £50 will be credited to anyone who subsequently books to join an expedition.
