Just in time for the hot weather, 80s inspired nightclub Maggie’s has created the ultimate summer cocktail: The Slush Yuppie.  This delicious taste of sweet nostalgia will be keeping guests cool this year.

Talented Manager Alejandro Madrid has introduced an original Slush Yuppie machine and added one key ingredient- alcohol. Guests can slurp the original sweet slush yuppie flavours blended with Bacardi Superior rum, crushed ice and strawberries.

Maggie’s is named after 1980s Prime-Minister-turned-icon Maggie Thatcher, club-goers can hear her famous speeches playing in the loos, while Thatcher memorabilia vies for space on the walls along with other iconic 80s images and paraphernalia from A Team action men to A-Ha platinum discs. The music is a mixture of classics from the 1980s, and stars from the era play regular DJ sets. The Maggie’s bar tenders are dressed like Tom Cruise in the 80s cult movie, Cocktail, and serve up a range of drinks from Pina Coladas and Daiquiris to the unforgettable Babycham.

So pick a Slush Yuppie up this summer at Maggie’s. If you miss out you’ll be crushed!
