Moving to a brand new home in Grimsby has been made more affordable thanks to Redrow.

Selected homes at Kirk’s Paddock come with added extras as part of a tailored incentive package from the award winning housebuilder – but for a limited period only.

Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), commented: “Items such as carpets and curtains can add to the cost of moving home. But with our ‘More for Less’ package buyers won’t have to worry about finding extra cash as we’re including carpets, curtains, light fittings and landscaping in the price of some of the homes. It’s already helped a number of customers buy their dream home and due to its popularity we have extended the offer.”

The ‘More for Less’ incentive is still available on three-bedroom ‘Hardwick’ style properties, on the market from £149,999.

As well as the ‘More for Less’ items, customers could potentially save more than £40,000 off the initial price with the help of HomeBuy Direct.

This Government-backed incentive gives those eligible a 30% equity loan towards the cost of their home, which is interest free for five years. It means a three-bedroom ‘Hardwick’ could be snapped up for an initial outlay of just £104,999.

“Customers will only need a mortgage for a maximum of 70% of the property’s value and should have access to some of the better mortgage interest rates; usually reserved for those with large deposits or substantial equity in an existing home. The outstanding balance can be repaid when the client has more funds available or when they come to resell,” Patsy explained.

HomeBuy Direct is open to first time buyers and those starting over after a change of circumstances, such as divorce, provided their annual family income is less than £60,000.

On the ground floor, the ‘Hardwick’ features a spacious lounge that spans from the front to the rear of the property, plus a combined kitchen and dining room.

The kitchen is well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances including an oven, microwave and fridge freeze; while floor to ceiling cabinets and extra wide drawers mean there’s plenty of storage space. Upstairs, there’s an en-suite to master bedroom to complement the family bathroom.

With local amenities in Scartho within walking distance of the development, residents’ everyday needs are well catered for at Kirk’s Paddock. Grimsby town centre is just two miles away and Cleethorpes is also easily accessible.

To take advantage of the ‘More for Less’ package visit Kirk’s Paddock, where the show homes and sales office are open daily from 10am to 5.30pm.
