More than 25 members of staff and friends of Barratt in South Wales will be clad in lycra next month for a charity cycle ride.

The cyclists will be raising funds for Kids Out charity with the 85 mile route set to take in some of the leading housebuilder’s key developments in South Wales.

The cyclists are already into their training for the ride which takes place on Saturday July 9 starting in Swansea at the Copper Quarter development before heading to Parc Tyn y Coed at Sarn, College Green at Rhydyfelin and then onto Foxgloves in Bettws and finishing in Caerwent at Barratt’s Castlemead development.

All monies raised will be donated to Kids Out which aims to transform the lives of these children by providing fun, positive activities and experiences.

“Kids Out plays a very important role within this region and support from local people and businesses can make a vital difference to those who sadly need it most,’’ said Barratt sales director Adrian Bird. “I know that it will be a fantastic day and the response from our staff, contractors and suppliers has been tremendous.’’
