Little Paddock, a collection of Scandinavian-style wooden lodges near Ringwood on the edge of the New Forest National Park, has been awarded a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for scoring consistently good ratings from members who have visited.

The complex is also ‘exclusively for adults’ which makes it particularly popular with people including school and college teachers and support staff, who are forced to take holidays when the children are off, and are desperate to find somewhere ‘child free’ to escape to.

Comments Brett Jones, a former senior council worker who turned his back on the rat race to join the tourism industry. “This really is fantastic recognition for all the hard work we have done to turn Little Paddock into somewhere special.

“We have lots of repeat customers and there aren’t too many places in the New Forest – which is tremendously popular with families during the school summer holidays – where people who work with children on a day to day basis can go to avoid them for a few days.”

Little Paddock’s lodges are individually furnished and are all designed to be occupied by just two people. Although fully-equipped for self-catering, the complex’s owners will also deliver meals or breakfast hampers at a supplement for those who would rather let someone else do the preparation.

Shared facilities include two hot tubs, a tennis court, a swimming pool and terrace bar.

The New Forest’s lovely villages and towns, with their wide choice of pubs and restaurants, are all easily reached.

The price of a three-night break in June is from £128 pp (two sharing). To book, visit: little-paddock.com
