KLM offers additional flights to Southern China

In codeshare with SkyTeam partner China Southern Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is offering three extra direct flights to Guangzhou in Southern China with effect from today.

In so doing, KLM is further increasing the frequency of its network of flights to and from China.

Through its new scheduled service, KLM now offers 53 weekly flights to Greater China. With eight destinations in Greater China and in cooperation with SkyTeam and our partners in China, KLM continues to cater to the ever?increasing demand for flights between Europe and China.

The flight to Guangzhou will be operated thrice weekly by China Southern Airlines. The codeshare flight (KL4299) to Guangzhou will depart from Amsterdam on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 13:20 hours and arrive the next day at 05:50 hours. The return flight (KL4300) will depart from Guangzhou on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 23:55 hours and arrive in Amsterdam the next day at 05:45 hours.

The flights will be operated using Airbus 330-200 equipment. From Guangzhou, China Southern Airlines offers connecting flights to and from a large number of destinations in China, Australia and New Zealand.

China Southern Airlines is China’s biggest airline. In 2007, SkyTeam welcomed China Southern Airlines to its membership base as its first Chinese carrier. KLM and China Southern Airlines have cooperated closely since November 2001.
