Jet2.com says ‘Bonjour’ and ‘Ciao’ for summer 2012

The leading leisure airline Jet2.com has announced three exciting new 2012 routes from Manchester are now on sale to the spectacular French cities of Paris and Toulouse and the beautiful gateway to the Italian Lakes Bergamo (Milan).

Jet2.com is the only airline offering summer 2012 flights to Toulouse and Bergamo from Manchester Airport, giving the people of the North West an even wider choice of city and leisure destinations to be enjoyed at friendly low fares and with allocated seats, 22kg baggage allowance and convenient flight times.

With the three new destinations, on top of our announcement of new flights to Barcelona just two weeks ago, Jet2.com now offers 35 city, sun and ski destinations from Manchester Airport. Paris is the most popular city break destination in the world with over 30 million visitors every year. From March 2012, the North West’s holidaymakers can tailor their trip for their ideal departure day and duration as Jet2.com’s Paris flights will operate four days a week. The spectacular French capital is ideal for a weekend shopping, a few days sightseeing or to soak up the atmosphere, and with prices from £29.99 one way including taxes Jet2.com customers will have more to spend enjoying the city’s many attractions.

Jet2.com is launching Manchester’s only route to Bergamo (Milan), which is at the foot of the Italian Alps. The airport is ideally situated for a holiday enjoying the breathtaking beauty of the Italian Lakes, including Lake Garda, Como and Maggiore. The weekly flights will commence in May 2012, with prices starting at £29.99 one way including taxes.

Jet2.com will also offer Manchester Airport’s only flights to Toulouse for summer 2012. ‘The Pink City’ has all the key ingredients for a great break - whether it’s to soak up the culture and visit famous sites including Basilique St-Sernin and the National Space Centre, at the heart of France’s aerospace hub, sample the famous Toulouse sausage used in the dish of the region, Cassoulet, or enjoy a tipple at one of a nearby internationally renowned vineyards. The destination is also a gateway for many other ‘must-sees’ in the South of France including the majestic Pyrenees, fortified  Carcassonne, Catalan Perpignan, historic Montpellier and the pilgrimage site at Lourdes.
