Littlehampton homebuyers win iPad with David Wilson

First time buyers Ben Croft and Gemma Brayhave an extra reason to celebrate their summer move into a David Wilson home after winning an iPad courtesy of the leading West Sussex housebuilder.
The young couple, who will be moving into their new home in June have taken advantage of a shared equity scheme to secure their first home.
The competition encouraged visitors at Kings Acre in Littlehampton and Blenheim Park in Tangmere, both David Wilson Homes developments, to enter the lucky dip draw and it was Ben and Gemma who had the golden ticket and weredeclared the winners.
The lucky pair are buying their first home together in the Kings Acre’s development and doing so has never been more vital after they recently became parents to their daughter Poppy.
The all-important move has been made possible thanks to a shared equity scheme which has allowed them to move into their new home for just 80 per cent of the asking price of their new home and have the remaining per cent deferred through a David Wilson Homes loan.
Talking of the competition win Ben said, “We are absolutely thrilled and so surprised. We’ve wanted an iPad for a long time so we’re both really pleased”. He also added, “Now we are just so looking forward to moving into our new home, which we without a doubt would not have been able to do with the shared equity scheme.’’
Managing director of David Wilson Homes, Ian Wallace commented, “We are delighted to be able to present Ben and Gemma with the iPad especially just before they move into their new family home”. He also added “So often, first time buyers settle on a home that doesn’t excite them at all and Ben and Gemma are a fantastic example of how one of our shared equity schemes has made it possible for a young family to afford their ideal home”.
