In two weeks time a bumper crop of new car debuts are scheduled to appear for the very first time in the UK as the Goodwood Moving Motor Show, presented by Auto Trader (30 June), plus the popular Festival of Speed (1-3 July) get underway.

With more than 175,000 visitors expected over the four days of the event, Goodwood has not only established itself as the world’s largest celebration of automotive culture, but also the UK’s best place to see the latest motoring marvels and brand new crop of supercars in action from around the globe, with a number of significant new models making their UK, European or World debuts. A full list of new cars due to make their UK public debut at Goodwood follows.

On Thursday 30 June, Goodwood will stage its second Manufacturer preview day – as a one day extension to the hugely successful Festival of Speed, and a re-inventing of the British Motor Show – the Moving Motor Show, presented by Auto Trader.

During this day, new car buyers and enthusiasts will be able to enjoy an exclusive motor show preview day, where they will not only be able to see the very latest new car models on display in a dedicated covered exhibition area, but in a few cases, and strictly at the invitation of the attending manufacturers, actually climb aboard and experience the vehicles first-hand.

The cars will undertake hundreds of runs on a special evaluation route that includes the world famous Goodwood hillclimb, fully dressed and prepared for the Festival of Speed, which kicks off the following day.  During the three days of the Festival itself, each of the Moving Motor Show exhibits will remain on static display for all Goodwood visitors to see and admire.  Moving Motor Show dynamic public debuts will include new cars as diverse as the Citroen DS4, Morgan 3-Wheeler, Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari, Ford Focus Estate and BMW 1 Series M.

Away from the Moving Motor Show, the Supercar Run is unique in providing a dynamic environment in which the public can view new models for the first time. Unlike a conventional motor show, the Supercar Run affords a fantastic opportunity not only to exhibit a new supercar, but also to show it in action on the Goodwood hillclimb during the Festival of Speed.  This year 50 cars will participate in the Run, many of which have never been seen publically in action before, including the UK dynamic debut of the Ferrari FF, Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, Pagani Huayra, Jaguar XKR-S, Marussia B1 and B2, Hulme Can Am Spyder, Hennessey Venom GT, and the BAC Mono making its world debut.  The First Glance class for interesting performance cars will include the world debut of the Vauxhall Astra GTC, plus the Honda CR-Z Mugen, Range Rover Evoque and Citroen Survolt concept.

Away from the Supercar Run, the FoS-TECH technology pavilion will showcase a variety of exciting future-focused automotive technologies.  Rarely-seen concepts being displayed in this year’s FoS-TECH include the European debut of the Chevrolet Mi-Ray, plus the Infiniti Etherea, SEAT IBE, Rolls-Royce 102EX, Renault Captur, Gordon Murray Design T25 and T27, and the GM EN-V.

Elsewhere in the vehicles manufacturer’s exhibition zone, expect to see the Alfa Romeo 4C concept and Jaguar C-X75 concept for the first time on British soil, plus a number of other new car surprises.
