To celebrate the launch of three new showhomes at Taylor Wimpey’s Fordell Lea in Dunfermline, visitors to this impressive development of new homes just off Aberdour Road are invited to a Garden Party from 12 noon until 4pm on Sunday 19 June, 2011.

As well as three stunning showhomes to enjoy, there’s a whole host of free children’s activities including face-painting, crafts, giant garden games and balloon-modelling. Children are also encouraged to come along and meet some of the team from the local Dobbie’s Little Seedlings Club to plant their very own seedling to take home and watch it grow!

And to celebrate further, the first 25 visitors to the development on Sunday 19 June will receive a £20 voucher for Dobbies, plus all visitors to the event can enter a free prize draw to win £500 worth of Dobbies vouchers.

Inspired by nearby Fordell Castle, Fordell Lea is Taylor Wimpey’s latest development to open in Fife. Siutated off Aberdour Road in Dunfermline, this impressive development offers a mix of 135 contemporary family homes from Taylor Wimpey’s Scotland range.

The development offers a choice of two and three bedroom terraced and semi detached homes, as well as three and four bedroom detached family homes ensuring there’s a home here to suit a wide range of customers. Prices range from £127,500 for the two bedroom Andrew upto £200,000 for the four bedroom detached Fairbairn.

Fordell Lea offers the best of all worlds as Audrey Cook, sales manager for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland explains: “This development’s location is just a short drive to Fife’s picturesque coastline, whilst the latest in leisure and recreation is available at Fife Leisure Park.
“Our trio of showhomes are beautiful and offer visitors a chance to see for themselves how stylish their move could be to this handy development in Dunfermline. Our Garden Party event will run from 12-4pm on Sunday 19th June and everyone’s welcome.”

Being part of Taylor Wimpey’s Garden Party is a great opportunity to offer new home buyers expert gardening advice at Matthew Bailey, manager for Dobbies Garden World in Dunfermline adds: “The garden of a new-build home generally offers the owner that unique opportunity to start with a blank canvas. As well as offering some expert help to some of our younger gardeners with our ‘Little Seedlings’ planting session, our team will be on-hand at Taylor Wimpey’s event to offer homebuyers some gardening advice and tips to achieve the look they want for their outdoor space.”

Customers can also take advantage of the company’s Part-exchange, Easymover or shared equity schemes* – each one designed to appeal to customers who’d like to be on the move but who need a helping hand! And for reservations made by 10 July, 2011 buyers will also receive £500 worth of Dobbies vouchers to add a bit of colour to their new garden.

Normal opening hours at Fordell Lea are Thursday to Monday from 10am-5.30pm. The Garden Party event will run from 12-4pm on Sunday 19th June, 2011. For more information visit: taylorwimpey.co.uk
