With its Airdrie town setting and stunning views across North Lanarkshire, new parents Grant and Julie Keys believe they’ve picked up the keys to the perfect family home at Miller Homes’ Victoria Park Gardens development.

The couple moved into their stylish new home with their nine-month-old daughter after being recommended to the development by Julie’s cousin. Since moving, the pair have been so impressed by their new property that they’ve gone on to recommend Miller Homes to a number of close friends and family.

Fashion buyer Julie, 33, purchased her home using Miller Homes’ exclusive home exchange scheme, MiSwap*, and she explained how the development’s prime location appealed to her new family.

Julie said: “We fell in love with our new home the moment we saw it. In fact, I remember the day very clearly as I went into labour the same afternoon! Victoria Park Gardens is closer to my family and the houses here are just beautiful. We are so grateful to Miller Homes because I’d just given birth when we moved – I didn’t want the added stress of selling our home too, so MiSwap has helped us out massively.

“We’re so happy in our new home. My cousin lives just down the road, we have another cousin who’s hoping to buy here and some of my friends are looking too. It’s very much a family affair!”

Situated within walking distance of the lively town of Airdrie, Victoria Park Gardens has a real sense of community, thanks to its contemporary new homes and open green spaces. The development is also ideally based for commuting into both Glasgow and Edinburgh, while Airdrie train station is just a short walk from the development.

Neil Gaffney, sales director at Miller Homes Scotland West, said: “Victoria Park Gardens is one of our most popular developments with young and growing families, thanks to its convenient location in the heart of Airdrie.

“There are a range of Miller incentives available on properties at Victoria Park Gardens, meaning there is a home to suit prospective buyers at all rungs of the property ladder. The fact that Mr and Mrs Keys are using Miller Homes’ Recommend a Friend initiative is testament to the quality of the development and our fantastic customer service.”

Recommend a Friend, available to all Miller Homes customers, asks residents to recommend a friend, colleague or family member to consider purchasing a Miller Home. If their recommendation results in that friend purchasing a property, the customer will receive £1,000.

A collection of three, four and five bedroom homes are available at Victoria Park Gardens, with prices starting from £175,000 for the three-bedroom detached Carron housetype with integral garage.

The property’s attractive French doors join the lounge to the garden, lending the space a light and airy atmosphere. The Carron is a home of immense practicality and the master bedroom’s en-suite facilities will be particularly appreciated during the morning rush. The master bedroom also offers built-in wardrobes giving plenty of storage space, making this property perfect for every day living.

Eager buyers who want to make a quick move to Victoria Park Gardens but do not want to be held up with selling their existing property can take advantage of MiSwap* - Miller Homes’ very own home exchange scheme.

The initiative enables eligible buyers to swap their current property for one of Miller Homes’ selected plots, regardless of whether they are downsizing or upsizing, and even if there is no difference between the values of the two. This marks a radical departure from traditional part exchange schemes which usually require a homeowner to purchase a property worth at least 30 per cent more than their existing home to qualify.
