Hever Castle

Renowned for offering the most luxurious villas and houses across Europe and further afield, CV Travel is continuing the growth of its UK portfolio of properties, first launched in 2009, with the addition of an historic house in the grounds of Hever Castle, and a new mews house in Kensington.

The new additions bring the number of British and Irish houses featured in the collection to over 85 properties, the length and breadth of the UK.

Luxury Tudor house at Hever Castle

CV Travel has added part of the Astor wing of Hever Castle to its collection of British houses, and is offering a week’s stay for up to seven guests at Tudor House, a Tudor style house set against a backdrop of the double-moated castle, for a rental from £2500 to £3750 per week.

The four bedroom house, built within the castle grounds in 1903, features William Waldorf Astor’s handcrafted wood panelling and heavy furnishings applicable to the period. A stay at Tudor House offers guests the opportunity to enjoy the castle’s award winning gardens, lake and parkland during times when the grounds are closed to the public, and access to visit the historic castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn.

Tudor House is set in its own grounds, with a private tennis court, and has exceptional entertainment facilities, a large book collection for children and rental includes a welcome hamper of marmalade, cheese, milk, tea, coffee, bread, eggs, fruit, orange juice, wine and homemade cake.

Mews house in Kensington

A round the clock concierge services and a daily maid service are included in the rental of Kensington House, a fully serviced mews house close to Hyde Park, Harrods and Kensington High Street.

This high ceilinged, classic house is very stylishly furnished in contemporary style, with a state of the art galley kitchen, or the alternative of a chef to come in and cook. Two guests can enjoy the most stylish of locations and settings, with creature comforts that include a homely wood-burning stove and Bang and Olufsen sound TV and sound systems, and a glass floored balcony from the bedroom which floods light into the dining area below.

A week’s rental of Kensington House costs £5950 for two sharing and the house is currently available from 9 - 29 June on special offer at £4200 per week, over the Wimbledon Tennis fortnight.
