First-Time Buyer Weekend lets aspiring homeowners find out more about the opportunities available at Gainsborough Place, Taylor Wimpey’s development of property for sale in Wivelsfield, East Sussex.

First-time buyers in search of new homes in East Sussex are urged to take a fantastic opportunity to let Taylor Wimpey help them step onto the property ladder at Gainsborough Place this weekend.

The leading housebuilder is holding a First-Time Buyer Weekend on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June at its popular development of apartments and houses for sale in Wivelsfield, East Sussex.

Experts will be on hand between 10.30am and 5.30pm to explain how qualifying purchasers can double their deposits up to 10% of the purchase price of selected Wivelsfield properties to buy at Gainsborough Place with Taylor Wimpey’s incredible Deposit Match initiative.

Free independent mortgage advice and legal guidance will also be on offer for Wivelsfield property-seekers during this event.

With Deposit Match, a purchaser putting down £17,000 on a delightful two-bedroom Swanley House apartment – priced from just £169,995, for example – would receive the same amount again in the form of an interest-free, 10-year loan.

With up to a 20% deposit, buyers can make big savings on their mortgage payments thanks to the lower interest rates they can access.

Fiona Creed, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Our First-Time Buyer Weekend is a must for anyone hoping to step onto the property ladder.

“Deposit Match has been designed to give a leg-up to first-time buyers who might otherwise need to save for years to buy their own place, and means they can realise their dream of home ownership much sooner than they thought.

“This incredible initiative gives purchasers access to a wider range of attractive mortgage deals, more competitive interest rates and lower monthly payments.”

Two-bedroom ‘Swanley House’ apartments at Gainsborough Place all feature a spacious lounge/dining room and open-plan fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood, while two bedrooms, a bathroom and handy storage cupboard can also be found off the entrance hallway.

Selected plots boast en-suite bathrooms to master bedrooms, while all plots benefit from allocated parking.

Gainsborough Place will comprise just 54 two-bedroom apartments and two, three, four and six-bedroom houses, conveniently located in a quiet cul-de-sac within the village of Wivelsfield, and bordered by picturesque open countryside.

Gainsborough Place is ideally placed for commuters, with the new homes located less than a mile from Wivelsfield railway station, which offers regular services to central London in under an hour, and to Brighton in only 20 minutes.

Crawley and the M23 are 16 miles away, putting the M25 within easy reach, while Gatwick Airport is just 23 miles from the development.

Nearby Burgess Hill is well served by a wide range of independent and high street shops, including Tesco and Waitrose, as well as a good selection of restaurants, pubs and cafés.

Parents will appreciate that schools for children of all ages can be found in the town, while there is a primary school in the village of Wivelsfield.

Customers can find out more about getting onto the property ladder during the First-Time Buyer Weekend at Gainsborough Place, located off Downscroft, Wivelsfield, RH15 0UF, and open between 10.30am and 5.30pm on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June. The development is also open daily during the same hours.
