Boston's Mayor to open retirement village’s annual fete

Boston’s Mayor, Councillor Mary Wright, will officially open this year’s Summer Fete at Park Place Retirement Village on Saturday, 9th July.
The Fete is now a regular date on Boston’s summer calendar with a host of games, stalls and entertainment in the landscaped grounds of the retirement village.
Boston West School Choir will be performing on the day and Jenny Webb, a favourite with Park Place’s residents, will also be singing live. In between there’ll be chance to tuck into a barbecue, guess the weight of the cake, browse jewellery, bottle and cake stalls, jump on the bouncy castle and try your luck on the tombola.
The Fete at Park Place, on Sleaford Road, Boston is being opened at 2pm.
Park Place was formerly known as The Minstrels.
