Friendship Travel expands singles winter programme

Leading singles specialist, Friendship Travel, has launched its expanded 2011/12 winter programme, with Madrid, Tenerife, Mauritius and Goa making their debut.

The company continues to grow year-on-year and the latest Mintel Report on the singles market (June 2011) indicates that an estimated 11.8 million holidays abroad were taken by solo travellers in 2010 – with volumes outperforming the overall holiday market.

There’s more choice for skiers and snowboarders with expansion in the French and Swiss Alps.  New properties include the three-star Chalethotel Cygnaski in Val d’Isere where seven nights cost from £595 per person inclusive of return Gatwick flights, transfers and half-board with afternoon tea.

Further afield, Mauritius makes its debut with seven nights of luxury at the four-star Tamassa Hotel costing from £1695 per person inclusive of return Gatwick flights, transfers and all-inclusive accommodation.

Other highlights of the company’s programme include festive breaks – both home and away – Easter and Valentine getaways, cruising and UK walking.
