Waterfront hog roast for Deal Regatta Week

To mark Deal Regatta Week, which includes a Carnival procession, a “Party on the Prom” and funfair on Walmer Green, the Beachbrow Hotel is to host a hog roast and barbecue.

On Wednesday 26th July, the historic hotel’s Waterfront Restaurant, which overlooks the sea by Deal Pier, will be holding a hog roast from 6.30pm.

To coincide with the carnival procession on Thursday at 7pm, the Waterfront Hotel will hold a barbecue, serving burgers, hot dogs and chips with a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks.

The restaurant expects to cater for around 100 guests on both evenings.

During the festivities, live music and open art studios will feature at various locations around Deal and the RNLI and Coastguard will give displays on 27th July.

The Carnival will culiminate in a spectacular firework finale opposite the Beachbrow Hotel.

The Beachbrow Hotel has been instrumental in the campaign to save the Party on the Prom, by hosting meetings of the Deal, Walmer and Kingsdown Carnival and Regatta Association.
