First auction for collector watches at Auctionata

On July 10, 2011, at 17:00 CET, the world’s first live online auction platform Auctionata will be starting the first real-time auction for fine vintage timepieces. The offerers of the 150 watches on auction include nine internationally renowned watch dealers.

Nine internationally respected dealers

The highlights of the auction include the Patek Philippe in white gold whose value has been estimated at USD 50 to 70 thousand and that is being offered by the Aaron Faber Gallery in New York and a rare Jaeger Le Coultre Triple from the 1930s being offered by Paul Duggan from Boston.

Matthew Green from Boca Raton is offering a mint condition Rolex Daytona (Paul Newman).

Further dealers participating in the first Auctionata auction include Oliver Deneke and Mario Gensicke from Germany and Amsterdam Vintage Watches, who specialize in the purchase and sale of high-quality brand-name watches from entry-level models to Grande Complication.

Vincent P. Grupi, the vintage and pre-owned wristwatch specialist from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with over twenty years of experience will also be participating in the first real-time auction through his company Losttimes.com. Vincent P. Grupi has many years of experience in the purchase and sale of wristwatches and is a member of the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors and of the International Watch & Jewelry Guild.
