Duo of affordable home ownership open events in Northamptonshire

Orbit Homes will be holding a duo of open events in Northamptonshire on Saturday 6th August to allow interested buyers to take a look at the affordable new homes available now under the HomeBuy Shared Ownership scheme.

The first of the events runs from 9am to midday at Unity @ Trinity Green in Northampton. Located off Cotswold Avenue in Duston, Unity @ Trinity Green features a range of beautifully designed 1 and 2-bedroom apartments with prices starting at just £32,000 for a minimum 40% share.

From 1.30 pm – 4.30 pm a second event will run at the Furnace Lane development, off Rockingham Road in Kettering. 2-bedroom homes at Furnace Lane are available from just £46,000 for a minimum 40% share and visitors will be able to take a look at the brand new ‘Hampton’ style show home.

HomeBuy Shared ownership is a fantastic opportunity for those who would like to own a home of their own but can’t afford to buy outright. The scheme allows you to purchase a share in a home and pay a subsidised rent on the remainder. The share you buy is tailored to your individual circumstances meaning that you purchase a share that you can afford and take out a smaller mortgage than you would if you bought your home on the open market.
