It’s the news that NFL fans across the world have been waiting for – American football is back!

The new Collective Bargaining Agreement between the players and owners not only finalises the 2011/2012 schedule, meaning fans can start booking their trips to the States, but also guarantees that Wembley will stage its fifth regular-season game in October.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Chicago Bears, both previous Super Bowl winners, will head to the UK for the game on 23rd October 2011. It will be a welcome return to Wembley Stadium for the Bears on the 25th anniversary of playing in the first official NFL game staged in the UK.

The Wembley games, known as the International Series, are always held in front of sell-out crowds and bring all the high-energy entertainment that has come to be expected of the NFL. Fans can secure their place at the game with Thomson Sport, Official Travel Partner of the NFL in the UK. Prices start from £177pp including one night B&B accommodation at the 3* St Giles Hotel and Official NFL Lower End Zone game ticket. Optional upgrades are available.

Thomson Sport also offers official packages for fans to attend regular season games in the USA.
