2nd August 2011 Print

Those who want to start 2012 feeling refreshed and regenerated should take a New Year break at the Celtic Haven wellbeing resort in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. With its private spa and fitness centre, cosy cottage accommodation and clifftop location, Celtic Haven is the perfect relaxing escape for friends and couples. The price of a short break in a two bedroom cottage  suitable for four people starts at £562 and week long breaks start at £750.

Celtic Haven has 26 self-catering cottages sleeping from two to 12 people, which have been redecorated and refurbished this year to luxury standards. Many have sea views, snug fireplaces and the fridge can be stocked up with groceries or ordered online from the local shop before arrival.

Guests are free to use Celtic Haven’s private indoor swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, fitness suite, nine-hole headland golf course and all weather tennis courts. A new addition for the new year are specialised women’s golf packages, designed to encourage more women to play the sport.

The resort also has one of just four Elemis Premier Spas in Wales and offers over 80 regular and specialised treatments such as waxing, facials, manicures and pedicures, hydrotherapy baths, body wraps and body sculpting cellulite therapy. One to three day spa packages are also available.

Guests wanting more direct guidance about lifestyle, health and fitness can meet with the Celtic Haven fitness professional and restaurant manager to discuss targets. They can help with posture training, healthy eating and instruction of how to use gym equipment effectively.

The fresh air and spectacular sights of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park can be enjoyed straight from the cottage doorstep with private access to Lydstep Beach and the Celtic Mile walking trail. Guests can enjoy fresh, local produce at Celtic Haven’s Italian influenced Waves Restaurant which uses local lamb, seafood and grocery products.
