The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa is hosting another of its phenomenally popular events, ‘Ready, Steady, Learn to Cook’ on 23 September 2011, to be co-hosted by Executive Head Chef Leigh Myers and Celebrity Chef Simon Rimmer, who is best known for his numerous TV appearances including Something for the Weekend and Great British Menu.

With previous events a sell-out, Ready, Steady, Learn to Cook is a proven recipe for success. In September, guests will be treated to a fun-filled evening of entertainment and enlightenment, as they experience live cookery demonstrations from Leigh and Simon, interspersed with a tantalising three course meal.

Throughout the demonstrations, which are shown on large TV screens in the hotel’s prestigious Grosvenor Suite, the two chefs will share their top professional tips for creating the perfect dinner party at home. Diners will also sample and receive advice on choosing wines to complement the dishes being served.

Executive Head Chef Leigh Myers comments: “Our Ready, Steady, Learn to Cook evenings are great fun and are hugely popular. They offer fantastic value for money, as diners not only get to experience a fun night out, they also learn tricks of the trade and enjoy delicious food and wine in a wonderful atmosphere. I’m really looking forward to working alongside Simon; with his experience of both cooking and presenting he’ll be a fantastic addition to the evening. It’s bound to be very popular so I urge anyone interested to secure their places now.”

Tickets cost just £45 for a minimum of three alcoholic drinks, cooking demonstration and three course meal followed by coffee and chocolates. Diners can extend the evening and take advantage of a special accommodation rate of £55.00 per person on a B&B basis, based on two people sharing a double or twin bedroom.
