4shared.com launches entertainment platform with Bigpoint

The file-storage platform 4shared.com is expanding its online portfolio by offering a new, globally available gaming portal 4shared.com/onlinegames, where games won’t just be downloadable but available directly in the browser. The online-game provider Bigpoint (bigpoint.com) is now 4shared.com’s exclusive cooperation partner and will provide a large number of its games.

From the very start, Seafight, DarkOrbit, Farmerama, Zoomumba, SkyRama and Battlestar Galactica Online will all be playable on the 4shared gaming platform. More games will be added over the coming months. The games will be universally available and playable in English, German, Portuguese, Spanish, French and Italian.

4shared isn’t just looking to reach game-loving target groups with their new product offers but are trying to expand their platform beyond the bounds of just file storage. Bigpoint will now also reach out to the millions of new 4shared.com users around the world.
