Anyone who’s ever tried to sell a house knows how stressful it can be. Not only do you need to purchase a new property, but at the same time you have to sell your existing one, and the timing of these two things rarely coincide.

However the first residents at Persimmon Homes Essex’s Shaftesbury Mews development in Romford, managed to avoid any trials and tribulations thanks to Part Exchange.

Kevin and Jayne Gower chose to sell their previous property through Persimmon as they were after a quick and easy move – and that’s exactly what they got.

Kevin comments: “We wanted to move house as soon as possible however even we were pleasantly surprised at just how quickly Persimmon arranged the whole thing – it took less than a ten weeks from when we first saw the house at Shaftesbury Mews to when we actually moved in.”

Jayne adds: “It wasn’t just the time scale which ran smoothly either, the whole process was made very simple thanks to Persimmon’s excellent sales advisers.”

Part Exchange provides all the help you need when it comes to finding a new address. Purchasers will be given a guaranteed purchase price for their old home and there won’t be any costly surveys or agents’ fees. Representatives from financial advisers and local solicitors can also be recommended to ensure you have all the help you need.

Jayne and Kevin chose the three/four bedroom Cranfield townhouse as it provided all the space they needed. Jayne states: “It’s always been a dream of mine to live in a brand new house, and it’s great that it’s now become a reality as the layout of our home perfectly suites all our requirements.”

The ground floor of this stunning housetype includes a welcoming entrance hallway, a spacious and practical kitchen with room for a breakfast table, a dining and living area with French doors to the rear garden.

Upstairs there are three good-sized bedrooms and the family bathroom, while the second floor is dedicated to the master bedroom with handy en suite bathroom.

Kevin continues: “We fell in love with both our new home at the development, I work in the City and we’re situated just a short distance from the train station in Romford so my commute has been cut by half an hour.”

Among the current release of properties Shaftesbury Mews hosts a collection of three, three/four and four bedroom housetypes, and with just 18 private houses available, househunters are being urged to register their interest before they potentially miss out on their favourite plot.

Properties are priced from £299,995 for the Cranfield housetype.

Shaftesbury Mews lies just half a mile from the centre of Romford, giving homeowners easy access to a variety of popular high street and independent shops, leisure pursuits and eateries. Great local transport links mean London’s city centre is within reach in just 30 minutes from the local train station.
