Santa's Lapland offers catered log cabins

22nd September 2011 Print

Santa’s Lapland is the first Lapland operator to offer fully catered log cabins for guests taking one of the company’s three or four day holidays to find Santa in his Lapland home.

The log cabins, being offered as `Santa’s Christmas Cabins’, provide a similar type of holiday accommodation as conventional catered ski chalets, with up to ten guests sharing a communal dining and sitting area and catering including a generous daily breakfast, three course evening meals with wine and soft drinks and a festive dinner on the last evening with Christmas crackers.

`Santa’s Christmas Cabins’ are traditional log-cabins, set in the heart of the northern Lapp village of Saariselka. They are decorated with a Christmas tree in the main room, have an open log fire, a sauna and offer free use of toboggans. Guests can either book an entire cabin, for extended family get-togethers, or families of four can book the chalets’ twin rooms in pairs.

The new Christmas Cabins from Santa’s Lapland are in addition to both half board and bed and breakfast hotel accommodation.

A three day / two night Santa’s Lapland holiday in a catered cabin costs from £2306 for a family of 4, including breakfast and dinner (with wine), return flights from Gatwick, Stansted or Manchester, transfers, free use of thermal clothing, a private family meeting with Santa and a full activity day in a snowy woodland setting, including free kids’ mini-skidoo ride, a reindeer sleigh ride, husky dog sledding, lunch and unlimited warm drinks, ice-fishing, tobogganing and ice-hockey.
