An innovative new venture is unlocking the door to exclusive discount deals for visitors to the Highlands helping them learn more about the areas they plan to visit, and ensuring they save money into the bargain.
Highland Key is a discount card and ‘online gateway to the Highlands’ listing dozens of exclusive money-saving offers across the Highlands of Scotland. Already over 80 registered businesses across the Highlands are promoting their discounted offers on the site, with further promotion on Facebook and Twitter.
Offers include a varied selection of exclusive discounts ranging from outdoor activities, accommodation, eating out and retail outlets to car and campervan hire, photography, jewellery and much more. And the website aims to become one of the best information sources for tourists visiting the Highlands, including stunning photography by local photographers and a seasonal wildlife section.
Some of the exciting businesses to have signed up include two new UK firsts - Highland Fling Bungee at Killiecrankie, the first static bridge bungee in the UK, and G2 Outdoor’s Zip Line Adventure Park in Aviemore, the first dedicated zip line park in the UK.
Access to the growing number of special deals on offer through Highland Key is simple. Visitors have the option of purchasing either a Highland Key Traveller Card (£15 and valid for one month from the date of purchase) or a Highland Key Explorer Card (£35 and valid for one year from the date of purchase).
