Sculpture breaks in Florence

3rd October 2011 Print

Enjoy the magic atmosphere of Florence whilst acquiring the sculpting techniques of the masters at the Galleria Romanelli sculpture studio.

This splendid Florentine building, completely refurbished in 2007, is both art gallery and sculpture atelier and houses an archive of more than 1500 plaster casts, remnants of commissions that have been accumulated through the years, and which can be reproduced and customized to individual tastes. Folca and Raffaello Romanelli continue the family tradition, stretching back some five generations, fulfilling commissions of actors, politicians and prominent personalities.

This two day course, (one three hour lesson per day), will involve sculpture by modeling and sculpturing on clay. Lessons with a master sculptor, can be taken in the morning or the afternoon. You are free to bring your own masterpiece home.
