Positive start to Angel Vale launch

A highly successful launch event resulted in a hat-trick of reservations for stylish new homes at Angel Vale. The Bloor Homes development in Coleford officially opened the doors to its marketing suite and showhomes on Saturday 24 September, attracting a large number of house hunters along with lots of local residents keen to see what is on offer. Three homes were reserved during the event.

“We were obviously very pleased with the turnout to our launch event and with the initial feedback we received, which was overwhelmingly positive,” said Sales Advisor, Emma Alford. “Visitors were really complimentary about both our showhomes. They loved the spaciousness of our four-bedroom Horseshoe style and the flexible living space of the three-storey Leicester. We have a really nice range of styles here to cater for the needs and tastes of lots of different buyer profiles - from first time buyers, to young families, families needing a larger home to accommodate a growing family and older people looking to downsize after their children have flown the nest. Angel Vale has lots of appeal.”

Currently available at Angel Vale is a variety of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes – both traditional style double-fronted properties and modern three-storey townhouses with prices starting from just £139,950 for a brand new, two-bedroom property.

Some buyers could benefit from a Government scheme aimed at making home ownership more affordable. Those eligible for the HomeBuy Direct scheme buy a minimum of 70 per cent of the market value of a property, with the remaining portion of the cost paid for by an equity loan of up to 30 per cent. There are no payments on the loan for the first five years, substantially reducing the cost of home ownership in the early years.

Buyers with an existing property to sell may be able to purchase using Bloor’s part-exchange scheme. You’ll receive a valuation on your home within 48 hours of the estate agents’ visits, you have no advertising costs, no chain and a guaranteed buyer, seriously reducing the stress levels often associated with moving home.

Full details of both HomeBuy Direct and bloor’s part-ex scheme are available from Emma and her colleague Jan Bromage - who are looking forward to a busy year at the new development - and are also on Bloor’s website.

The location of the development is hard to beat. Angel Vale is conveniently situated within walking distance of Coleford’s thriving town centre, which has been designated as a Conservation Area. There are public footpaths leading from the development to open countryside and there are also plenty of nearby attractions in the Forest of Dean, from the Wye Valley and Symonds Yat in the west, to the beautiful walks in the centre of the forest.

Coleford itself lies nine miles South of Ross-on-Wye and Gloucester City is only 20 miles away. The A40 bypass links to Monmouth, Wales and the M50 is just nine miles from Coleford, making it an ideal location for those seeking a more tranquil lifestyle but who need to commute to nearby towns and cities. Public transport to Coleford is by bus or coach with the nearest mainline train station in Lydney.
