Elaine and David Upton are delighted to end their one year search for their ideal home at a new homes development in Leeds.

The couple needed a large property to accommodate Elaine’s elderly father and found it at Taylor Wimpey’s Eden development in the New Forest Village, Sharpe House Lane.

Elaine said: “When we first started looking for a new home, we knew that we needed a house large enough so my father could move in with us and for him to have the space to retain as much independence as possible.

“We couldn’t believe our luck when we came across the Stanton at Eden. It ticked all the boxes for us in terms of size, layout and location. The area is first class and has a real village feel about it, with numerous local shopping, eating out places and leisure amenities which is a plus. We also enjoy the country way walks and parkland which are within minutes of the house.

“The scheme we chose to go with was part exchange, which reduced the hassle of selling on the open market. The complete service from both the sales and aftercare teams at Eden was great and made the overall process of the move easier.”

Anne Bagshaw, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, adds:
“We always try our best to help our customers find their perfect home and have a number of schemes available to suit all buyers giving them peace of mind.

“We are pleased that our team at Eden were able to assist the Uptons in finding their ideal home and we’re always happy to receive such fantastic feedback about our aftercare service.”

“The Uptons chose the Stanton, a lavish five bedroom detached home, which comes complete with four bathrooms, an elegantly styled living space, garage and a beautiful private garden.

“We have a nice selection of fabulous homes that are perfect for both families and couples, the area has great shopping, restaurants and is perfect for quite walks - it has something for everyone.”

Taylor Wimpey’s fast and efficient part exchange scheme relieves the pressure and hassle of finding a buyer for their current home, as well as the delays and fees that follow when selling through the open market. The scheme allows buyers like the Uptons to cut out ‘the middle man’ and have a cash buyer available – Taylor Wimpey.

Located just a few miles from Leeds centre, the development offers an ideal base for those wanting to enjoy a tranquil home setting, within easy reach of the office.

With excellent connections to the M1, M62 and M621, just a ten minute drive away, Eden is situated in the ideal location for commuters. With good shops, leisure facilities and primary and secondary schools all on the doorstep, it really does have the best of both worlds.

And its wide selection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes will mean all budgets are catered for.
