N&P launch new share dealing account
A new share dealing account with preferential trading rates and a new website to help investors through the jargon-filled world of stock markets and trading, have been launched by N&P (Norwich and Peterborough Building Society) to make share dealing easier and cheaper.
The new N&P Classic Share Dealing Account offers flat commission rates for online share dealing at £8.95 per trade, or £14.95 by telephone, with no annual management or inactivity charges.
These rates are among the best available in the ‘execution only' share dealing market and will apply to any trade in UK listed shares, irrespective of deal size, and could easily mean a saving of over £50 on a one-off £5,000 trade.
The N&P Classic Share Dealing Account is available to all customers with an N&P's Gold Classic Current Account, which offers a host of other benefits including free overseas debit card usage overseas and protection for all your cards with lock and key replacement through Sentinel Gold.
Danny McIntyre, share dealing product manager at N&P, said: "This new account is a great opportunity for both new and experienced investors looking to share deal at low cost. We have seen an increase in share dealing activity over the summer months, partly due to uncertainty in the market, but also because more and more people are prepared to take on the higher risk and invest in shares in order to seek higher returns on their savings. Building and managing your own investment portfolio has never been easier.
"Our new improved share dealing website gives all investors a wealth of information including free access to premium financial data, comprehensive news on what is happening in the markets, and also a section setting out what the main investment brokers are recommending.
"In terms of value, by using N&P's share dealing service customers could quite easily see a saving of upwards of £50 on a one-off trade. If, like many investors, share dealing is a way of investing and getting the best return on their money, all savvy investors would recognise the significant savings that can be made, simply by switching their share dealing provider."
