Renault launches online merchandise store

With online shopping continuing to play an ever-increasing role in daily life, Renault is now looking to get a slice of the action with the launch of a new online merchandise store, renaultshop.co.uk.
 
Making it possible to order all things Renault from anywhere in the world, day or night, the new RenaultShop will feature all of the latest official merchandise, whether it’s miniature cars, toys and gifts, or Gordini, Renaultsport, Red Bull and Lotus Renault GP Formula 1 items.
 
As a special launch offer, Renault is giving away a free Renaultsport baseball cap to the first 150 customers spending £35 or more at the new online outlet. The must-have accessory can be claimed simply by entering the code LaunchOffer at the checkout stage.
 
The site features clever dynamic imaging technology, complete with a “roll over” zoom feature so that customers can take a closer look at their prospective purchase in advance.
 
The site also offers additional functionality, with clever features such as other product suggestions and links to social networking sites, should users wish to post photos of their purchase from the order confirmation page.
 
Orders will be dispatched by the Renault Retail Group dealership network within four working days and sent using recorded delivery. An email confirmation is also automatically issued after an order is placed. For ease of use, customers can pay using all major credit and debit cards, with the exception of American Express. Purchases can also be sent to an alternative address, for example, if the item is a gift for someone else, or is easier to be signed for at a place of work or by family or friends.
 
As well as its own homepage, renaultshop.co.uk, Renault owners will also be able to access the site through the ‘Owner Services’ section of renault.co.uk. Those with a ‘My Renault’ account can speed up the purchase process by logging in with their existing credentials.
 
Commenting on its latest initiative, Mark Crockett, Renault UK’s Director, Services and Quality, said, “Renault merchandise has always been hugely popular and now it’s never been easier to browse and order a selection of great products. Whether you’re looking to treat yourself or buying something for Father’s Day or Christmas for the F1 fan in your family, we’ve got everything from shirts to key rings to pedal cars, to suit every kind of budget. There are also practical items such as luggage, as well as exclusive Longchamp and Mont Blanc merchandise.”
