Taylor Wimpey has helped young parents Russell Small and Rebecca Holton on to the property ladder at Frampton View, the leading housebuilder’s development of new homes for sale in Rushall, Walsall.

First-time buyers Russell Small and Rebecca Holton have secured a fabulous future as a family by putting down roots at Frampton View, Taylor Wimpey’s sought-after collection of new build homes in Rushall, West Midlands.

The young couple are now happily settling into life at the development of houses for sale in Rushall after a whirlwind couple of years.

Prior to purchasing their new Rushall property, both had been studying at Oxford Brookes University, with Rebecca (23) graduating from her nursing degree in 2009, and Russell (24) from his motorsport technology course a year later.

The happy couple then became homeowners for the first time when they relocated from Oxford to Frampton View in August 2011 – choosing from the fantastic selection of property for sale in Rushall and moving in three weeks before the arrival of their first child, Harry.

“It has been a busy time, but we’re really pleased with the way things have worked out for us,” says Russell, who has also started out on the first rung of the career ladder as design engineer at ADT Fire and Security in Halesowen.

“To have such a nice family home in a place that’s great to bring up children is just what we wanted.

“I’m originally from Birmingham, but my brother lives in Rushall and so I knew through him how good the area is.

“The schools have good reputations locally, and something I have always noticed when I’ve visited the area is how friendly the people are.”

As first-time buyers, Russell and Rebecca weren’t sure if they could afford a three-bedroom new-build house in such a great location, but after visiting Frampton View they were overjoyed to find their dream home was within their reach.

They took advantage of the assistance on offer from the leading housebuilder for buyers in all circumstances which allowed them to secure a three-bedroom ‘Barwell’ semi-detached home.

“This was a massive help,” says Russell. “Without Taylor Wimpey, we simply wouldn’t have been able to get the house we wanted.

“We had looked at two-bedroom houses, but knew it made more sense to go for a three-bedroom design because we would like another child one day.

“With the ‘Barwell’ we have plenty of room, a really good plot size and have a home that’s excellent value for money.”

Taylor Wimpey offers first-time buyers like Russell and Rebecca the opportunity to step on the property ladder with ease at Frampton View, through the fantastic Government-backed FirstBuy initiative.

Subject to status, FirstBuy customers require only a 5% deposit and a 75% loan-to-value mortgage, with Taylor Wimpey and the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) providing a 20% loan which is repayable at the end of the 25-year mortgage term or when the property is sold.

To be eligible for the scheme, first-time buyers must have a combined household income below £60,000.

Frampton View is now just three homes away from being a complete sell-out, with property-seekers urged to hurry to choose from a final trio of three-bedroom semi-detached ‘Croxton’ houses, priced from only £153,995.

This spacious home design includes a generous living/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, a contemporary fitted kitchen and a handy guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to three bedrooms and a main bathroom, while two allocated parking spaces can be found outside.

Frampton View enjoys an excellent location in Rushall that’s ideal for young families and is close to local schools, shops and pubs.

Walsall town centre, located two miles to the south of the development, offers a wider selection of shops, cafes and restaurants, plus a variety of schools for children of all ages and the well-regarded Walsall College.

A £1 billion regeneration, due for completion in 2015, includes the stylish Waterfront canalside project, while the town is already home to numerous sports clubs and facilities, plus Crown Wharf Shopping Park, with its array of leading high street shops, and IKEA Wednesbury, less than five miles from the development.

Fine countryside lies to the north of Frampton View, with pleasant walks, particularly along Rushall Canal, which forms part of the historic Birmingham Canal Navigations.

A wealth of employment and further leisure opportunities is just minutes from home via Rushall’s excellent transport links – including the M6 and Walsall railway station for direct services to Birmingham New Street and Wolverhampton.

The development is just 10 miles from Birmingham city centre, nine miles from Cannock and Wolverhampton and eight miles from the cathedral city of Lichfield.
