Christmas shopping in Marrakech
With flights from Gatwick on Easyjet from just £62 return (including taxes) why not combine a long weekend in Marrakech with some seriously cheap Christmas shopping – picking up some wonderful unique, hand-made gifts and assisted by a personal shopper.
Daytime temperatures in December are in the early 20s, making it comfortable to search for gifts in the labyrinth-like souks within the World Heritage medina. Bargains can also be found in the cavernous antique warehouses of Gueliz, which are brimming with Moroccan and African art.
Specialist Morocco is currently offering a 3-night ‘Christmas Shopping Marrakech-style’ package, with accommodation in the recently opened Riad Africa* from just £299 pp (two sharing). The price includes private airport transfers, 3-nights’ half-board accommodation (B&B), a full body massage and hammam, plus a personal shopper for a day. Room upgrades to a Grande Suite cost from £329 pp.
The offer is subject to availability and is valid from 1-20 December 2011.
