Volkswagen Jetta benefits from new servicing package

12th January 2007 Print
Volkswagen Jetta The Jetta, Volkswagen’s medium saloon car, has always represented good value for money and with the introduction of even lower running costs thanks to a new servicing package this claim has been taken a step further.

From now until 31 March buyers of the Jetta can opt for an innovative new package that will cover the cost of servicing for up to four years or 40,000 miles.

The package, which costs £250, is available from all Volkswagen retailers and applies to the entire Jetta range – including the new 1.4-litre TSI model.

Through the use of both a supercharger and a turbocharger the new engine combines the virtues of an economical, small capacity unit with the responses and performance of a much larger engine. The new 1.4-litre TSI is available in 140 PS or 170 PS variants and can be mated to a choice of six-speed manual or DSG automatic gearboxes. In addition the Jetta is available with a 1.6-litre petrol or 1.9-litre and 2.0-litre TDI diesel engines.

The new servicing offer is available on any privately purchased Jetta bought and registered between 1 January 2007 and 31 March 2007.

The free servicing comprises:

Lubrication service at 10,000 miles or 12 months
Inspection service at 20,000 miles or 24 months
Lubrication service at 30,000 miles or 36 months
Inspection service at 40,000 miles or 48 months
First brake fluid change at 24 months
Second brake fluid change at 48 months (where applicable)
