Become a ‘Karaoke Superstar’ with Samsung’s Smart TV
Samsung, the UK’s number one TV brand with the most awarded TV range, has announced karaoke specialist, Digitop Ltd, as the latest partner for its Smart TV App store, Samsung Apps.
The new Karaoke Superstar app will enable Smart TV users to have instant access to over 2,000 high quality karaoke videos provided by Digitop’s The Mr Entertainer Karaoke Collection.
From party favourites ABBA and Kylie Minogue through to the latest chart hits including Lady Gaga and Adele, karaoke fans will be in for a treat as they sing along to each tune on their Samsung Smart TVs.
New tracks will be added to the app each week where Samsung Smart TV users can view 30-second sample clips for free or buy a four-hour party mode for £4.99 via PayPal. Avid karaoke singers can even purchase a monthly subscription with unlimited access for just £9.99. Karaoke Superstar will be the first Smart TV App available in the UK to be combined with the PayPal payment facility.
Furthermore, Smart TV users with a Samsung smart phone will soon also have the ability to download the Karaoke Superstar smart phone app which will allow karaoke fans to sing into their phone with the sound emitted from their TV. Songs will also be able to be recorded and uploaded onto the app and shared with other Karaoke Superstar users too.

Karaoke Superstar will join an ever-growing collection of services available on Samsung Smart TVs such as LOVEFiLM, BBC iPlayer, YouTube, Muzu.tv, Facebook and Twitter giving viewers a huge choice of content for the television.
