Bishops View

Bishops View, perched above the renowned surfing waters of Polzeath Bay in North Cornwall, is the latest luxurious property to join the Blue Chip Holidays portfolio of select holiday homes in stunning locations.

Set within a large communal garden this uncompromising penthouse apartment in New Polzeath is blessed with elevated views that take in the drama of the Atlantic Ocean, Polzeath Bay and Stepper Point.

Bishops View is perfectly situated for fans of fine food, as less than four miles away is the pretty coastal village of Rock where Nathan Outlaw's Michelin starred Black Pig is based.  On the other side of the River Camel, just a short ferry ride away, is Padstow, Rick Stein's famous Seafood Restaurant and a selection of other great places to eat including St Petroc's Hotel.  For fans of real ale, a pint of Doom Bar in the local Carpenters Arms or The Oystercatcher in Rock is hard to beat.

Bishops Views itself is situated on the top floors of an imposing double storey period coastal house.  Inside, the living and dining area has impressive beamed, vaulted ceilings and direct access to the large furnished balcony where you can dine and make the most of the stunning seascapes and headland views.  Entertainment, if can tear yourself away from the striking and ever changing vista, is provided by a 28" Toshiba flatscreen TV with DVD player and a selection of DVDs.  A good range of board games are also available.

As well as a well equipped kitchen the apartment has two bedrooms, both of which have been beautifully finished.  The master bedroom is beamed and has an ornate cast iron double bed set next to a splendid period window.  Here you can sit and drink freshly brewed coffee as you enjoy the spectacular sea and coast views.  The second bedroom features zip and link twin beds that can easily transform into a king-size bed.  Both bedrooms have access to the family bathroom, which has a W.C., sink, bath and shower over.

Outside, the apartment has access to a lovely communal garden with lawn where you can watch the surfers carve through the waves as they make the most of the rollers that crash in from the Atlantic.

Seven nights for four can be booked for less than £15 per person per night, or £409 in total.  Peak summer weeks can be booked from £1,029.  Bookings can be made online at bluechipholidays.net.
