Get insured and travel safely with Explorer Travel Insurance

There’s no more premium pain with Explorer Travel Insurance, with one of its Single Trip products endorsed with a ‘Best Rate’ vote of confidence in the latest consumer poll conducted by trusted consumer advice magazine, Which?

In the publication’s latest analysis of the marketplace, comparing and reviewing travel insurance policies for consumers with pre existing medical conditions, Explorer Travel Insurance received the Best Rate status for its Single Trip cover. Explorer triumphed in its category, based on quotes for a 15-day trip to Europe for a 70-year old (with diabetes or a slipped disc), almost four times better value than the most expensive quotes from insurers.

Commenting on the results, managing director of Explorer Travel Insurance, Ian Jennings, said “It’s an honour to be recognised in the Which? Travel Insurance Review. It is the list to be featured in!”

“People shouldn’t be charged a fortune because of any medical conditions when going on holiday. Being awarded the accolade of Best Rate policy is a huge testament to the work we continue to do to ensure we provide excellent levels of cover at a competitive price, offering customers value for money,” he added.

This latest rating marks a double Which? win for the specialist provider in 2011. Earlier this year Explorer was handpicked from 200 products as a Best Buy policy for customers aged 80 years plus.

Explorer is one of the few travel insurance companies to provide good value holiday insurance cover for over 65’s and to insure those with pre-existing medical conditions. Established by Ian Jennings in early 2011, the provider offers cover through a wide range of policies including single trip, annual, cruise, winter sports and backpacker policies.
