One call – five brands

All parts for Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda cars and light commercial vehicles can now be purchased from a new, all-embracing Trade Parts Specialist (TPS) centre, which recently opened at 696 Stirling Road on the Slough Industrial Estate.

Operated by the Windrush Volkswagen Group, the new facility holds all the parts formerly stocked at the company’s Maidenhead and Slough dealerships and a lot more besides. There is a regular delivery service, with local orders generally being satisfied within one hour of receipt.

“We are delighted to be operating such a centre, one of only 60 in the country sanctioned by the Volkswagen Group with a view to centralising the sale of parts for all their major brands,” said Windrush Volkswagen’s Dealer Principal Tim Attwood. “The 6000 sq ft premises are run by specially trained staff and will make life much more efficient for all relevant mechanical and body repair specialists in the area.”

For miles around Slough at least, it seems the days of customers needing parts for a complete engine rebuild having to queue behind a retired gentleman seeking a headlamp bulb for his Golf – and vice versa – are gone forever! In fact Slough TPS also covers Maidenhead, Reading, High Wycombe, Windsor and many more towns in Berks and Bucks.
