Living in the midst of a cosmopolitan city is the dream of many, but with costly rent and service charges, living the city dream can prove to be a little expensive.

So, imagine if you could enjoy living on the fringe of Leeds city centre and own your own home for less than you pay in steep city centre rents. You could be the latest in a stream of buyers that are flocking to Miller Homes’ h2010 development located on the outskirts of the cosmopolitan city of Leeds.

“Renting in the city has become rather expensive in some instances and we have seen a raft of people move from city centre developments to h2010 which is situated on the banks of the River Aire,” said Jan Hanaby area sales manager Miller Homes Yorkshire. “We have a fantastic selection of apartments and homes to suit a wide variety of buyers who can enjoy peaceful riverside living with all the benefits of the city just a short drive away.”

Properties currently available at h2010 range from two bedroom apartments priced from £105,000 to four bedroom family homes priced from £160,000. All have the added benefit of parking facilities yet another advantage over city centre living, where this essential commodity can add further expense to living costs.

“h2010 is a lovely development perfectly situated close to the motorway network, city and local facilities,” said Jan. “Buyers continue to be delighted with every aspect of living at h2010 and, with a range of purchase initiatives available, buying may be easier than they think.”

h2010 continues to benefit from HomeBuy Direct, an equity share scheme where, subject to qualifying criteria, buyers purchase 100% of their home by paying up to 70 per cent of the value, with both Miller Homes and the Government funding the remaining 30 per cent. One of the biggest benefits of the scheme is that the equity loan only becomes repayable after 25 years or when the customer sells their homes, whichever occurs the soonest, and there is no interest payable for the first five years.

MiSWAP, another initiative available at h2010, is Miller Homes’ unique home exchange scheme is available on selected plots and is ideally suited to current home owners who may be struggling to sell their existing property.

h2010 is located on Yarn Street, Hunslet, Leeds, LS10 1NY. For more information, visit millerhomes.co.uk.
