Second Tune Hotel to open - Liverpool Street, London on 4th January

4th November 2011 Print

Savvy travellers looking for a low-cost hotel in London in the New Year will be excited to hear that budget hotel chain Tune Hotels will be opening its second London property. Tune Hotel Liverpool Street will open on the 4th January 2012 and will share Tune Hotel Westminster’s core vision of great value, great savings.

Located just 500 metres from Liverpool Street station, the new Tune property features 183 en-suite bedrooms, all of which are 20% larger than the bedrooms at its sister property. For the first time in the UK, Tune has introduced twin bedrooms to the Liverpool Street property. The hotel also has a beautiful courtyard garden, spanning 550 square metres, which will be accessible to all guests staying at the hotel.

Mark Lankester, CEO of the Tune Hotel Group, commented “London is one of our key markets and we’re really excited to be opening our second property in the city. Following the success of our Westminster property, which has had an occupancy rate of 96% over the past year, we realised there is a real need for good quality, inexpensive accommodation in London, which is what we aim to provide. We’ve listened to our guests and whilst everyone loves our products, some guests have mentioned that they enjoy twin rooms. The larger rooms at Liverpool Street are an evolution of the brand. We’re working with the same business model for the new property and will be offering rooms from £35 a night.”

As a limited service hotel consumers can expect low-cost rooms focused on offering high-quality basics - excellent beds, power showers, air conditioned rooms, central locations, a clean environment, and 24 hour security – with guests only paying extra for the facilities and services they use.

Bedrooms at Tune Liverpool Street will start from £35 a night and are available to book now.
