Worcestershire’s first detox and weight loss retreat is unveiled

Worcestershire’s first ever detox and weight loss retreat was unveiled last week as Beaufort Detox opened its doors to welcome guests to an all-day pampering session.

The Open Day, which was held at Hidelow House The Farmhouse in Acton Beauchamp where Beaufort Detox is located, gave visitors the chance to meet with some of the retreat’s therapists and sample some of the treatments that will be available at Beaufort Detox through complimentary mini treatment sessions on the day, including HELth massage, laughter therapy and yoga to nutrition, beauty treatments and motivation counselling. Guests took advantage of a buffet lunch which allowed them to taste some of the delicious yet healthy foods that Beaufort Detox will serve its guests after it opens to the public in January 2012.

Donna Sammons, founder of Beaufort Detox Retreat and its parent company, Earth Connexions Limited, was also at the Open Day demonstrating a host of Earthing products that were exclusively available for visitors to sample and purchase at special discounted rates.

She commented: “With more people working longer hours and dealing with increased stress levels, at-home therapies may not quite fit the bill any more so it was past time that Worcestershire had its own detox and weight loss retreat. Our Open Day gave visitors the opportunity to meet our therapists and discuss their health regime and how it can be improved, while also allowing them to look around the first ever detox retreat in Worcestershire for themselves.
