Russian based company Ladoga in conjunction with UK partners Signature Lifestyles are proud to announce the UK release of it's Faberge inspired Imperial Collection Vodka.

The world famous Fabergé eggs were fashionable amongst the elite in St Petersburg over 100 years ago. The most popular jewelled pieces created by the master goldsmith Peter Carl Faberge were the miniature eggs worn on a neck chain.  50 larger eggs were created for the Tsars Alexander the Third and Nicholas the Second of Russia. Of the 50 made for the Imperialist rulers 42 have survived.  It is these large eggs that have inspired the design of this ultimate luxury vodka, to be sold only by London's legendary Browns boutique.

Uniting the historical traditions of vodka's production in the motherland, with the latest technologies of rectification has created the vodka itself. The water base hails from Lake Ladoga; the largest freshwater lake in Europe, low in minerals and particularly 'soft' in flavour. This, combined with the highest quality wheat and rye from the fertile fields of Central and Southern Russia, are then distilled over 12 times to create a truly superior 'super-premium' vodka. Initially the vodka is filtered 5 times through birch charcoal, then several times through quartz sand and finally though an algae, whose microstructure guarantees this rare purity. The unique smoothness and velvet texture of the resulting vodka recaptures the essence of the vodka that was enjoyed by the aristocracy of St Petersburg in the 19th Century.

The egg shaped container that houses this finely crafted spirit is itself fashioned by local Russian artisans. Inspired by Faberge's designs, they have used similar enamel and crystals that the master jeweller would have used as well as 24-carat gold gilding.  The composition is completed by a golden eagle, which was designed by one of the most famous Florentine master-jewellers who has worked in the Vatican for over 30 years. The 0.7 litre decanter itself and the four accompanying glasses are all made with the finest Venetian glass completing this exquisite limited edition offering.

Fabergé Imperial Collection is available in a limited edition of only 100 eggs per annum in the UK and is available to purchase exclusively at Browns South Molton Street or on the store's website.
