Christmas has come early for Annette Ose from Bilston thanks to a £200 prize from a Wolverhampton housebuilder.

Annette (44), who lives at Mount Pleasant in Bilston, attended the switch on of the Christmas lights in Bilston last weekend with her husband Karl and seven children who range from three to 16.

While she was at the event, Annette took part in a prize draw and has today been announced as winner and has scooped £200 worth of Argos vouchers from Persimmon Homes, main sponsor of the Bilston Christmas lights.

Collecting her prize from Persimmon’s Abbot’s Field development on Ettingshall Road, Annette said: “I can’t believe I’ve been announced as the winner! I have entered so many competitions over the years and have never won anything so I’m still trying to take it all in!

“With seven children to look after, I feel like I really deserve it and I’m looking forward to spending the vouchers on lots of lovely pampering treats for myself.”

Persimmon, also been announced as sponsor of the Christmas lights at Wednesfield High Street, Bilston High Street and Upper Green, Tettenhall.

Selected properties at Persimmon’s Abbots Field development are currenlty available with the Government–supported FirstBuy scheme which has been designed to help first time buyers on to the property ladder. With FirstBuy, homes at Abbot’s Field are currently priced from just £116,760.
