Threadneedle launches SICAV UK Equities Fund
Threadneedle Investments (Threadneedle), a leading international asset manager, has launched the Threadneedle (Lux) UK Equities Fund in its Luxembourg SICAV range in response to client demand.
The fund will be managed by Simon Brazier, Head of UK Equities at Threadneedle.
The Threadneedle (Lux) UK Equities Fund will be managed with the same process and techniques successfully employed over 26 years in the £1.1bn Threadneedle UK Fund. The Threadneedle UK Fund is a flagship conviction driven UK core equity strategy, also managed by Simon Brazier. It is four-star rated by Morningstar, A rated by OBSR and has delivered first quartile performance over 1 and 5 years and since Simon started running the fund in April 2010. Simon is Citywire AA rated and has over 13 years of experience in the industry.

The Threadneedle (Lux) UK Equities Fund is designed for offshore UK investors and other international investors looking to access UK equities through an offshore Lux-domiciled vehicle. The fund will typically hold 50-90 stocks and will be broadly diversified by market size and sector. It follows a dynamic approach to exploit opportunities wherever they appear at all stages of the economic cycle.
The fund is index aware (FTSE All Share) but stock unconstrained (subject to a max absolute position of 5% in any one stock). It offers daily dealing, both income and accumulating shares, both institutional and retail share classes (GBP base and currency hedged) and will have reporting fund status. The advisory fees are 0.8% on institutional class, 1.25% and 0.25% shareholder services fee on retail class. The fund targets first quartile performance over rolling 3 year periods.
