Start the New Year in style at Gilgamesh
Acclaimed London restaurant, Gilgamesh is hosting a glitzy New Year’s Eve party. Guests can first enjoy a delicious three-course dinner, before being invited upstairs to the elegant Gilgamesh Studio Nightclub to start 2012 in style.
Widely regarded as one of London's premiere destinations for food and drink, Gilgamesh serves critically acclaimed Pan-Asian cuisine, created by renowned Head Chef Ian Pengelley.
There are two special New Year’s Eve set menus available at £65 per person. The meat and fish menu will include starters such as Fresh Lobster Dumpling, Free Range Goose Spring Roll and Crispy Squid with Chilli and Sea Salt. Main dishes will include, Plum Miso Baked Chilean Sea Bass, Angus Fillet of Beef with Bulgogi Sauce and Crispy Duck & Watermelon Salad with Cashew Nuts & Sweet Fish Sauce.
The alternative vegetarian menu will include starters and main courses such as, Egg White Soup with Wild Mushroom Dumpling, Cucumber & Apple Caviar Sushi, Tofu & Spinach Bean Curd Roll with Chilli Garlic sauce, Roast Squash and Artichoke Yellow Curry with Roti. There will also be a special Chef’s New Year Dessert offered to both menus to round off a feast of elegance and flavour.
Diners will then be able to continue the celebrations in the Gilgamesh Studio Nightclub, the ultimate experience for guests who are looking for something special. Guests can then relax and have fun while the anticipation for the midnight countdown kicks in.
The glamorous interior in the Gilgamesh Studio provides the ideal setting for New Year’s Eve - its vast 9,000 sq ft of space means it caters for a large crowd of party goers. Great music from a top DJ will get guests into the New Year spirit, and all in the famous Gilgamesh surroundings - it’s one that can’t be missed. Guests wishing for extra elegance can book a private booth, with a minimum spend of £500.
For those who do not wish to dine, a separate Gilgamesh NYE offer is available. Priced at £40 guests will be invited to the bar and lounge where drinks, including famous Gilgamesh cocktails will be available before heading upstairs to the main party, in the Studio.
The Studio also serves a range of tempting drinks and has become known as a popular celebrity hangout - Fearne Cotton, Leigh Francis, Emma Bunton, Alexandra Burke, Chipmunk, Ronnie Wood, Liam Howlett, Olly Murs, Caroline Flack, Tinchy Stryder, Dynamo and JLS are all regulars.
