Selected properties at Taylor Wimpey’s Isaac’s Place development of new homes for sale in Grantham, Lincolnshire, are now available for a stamp duty-free purchase – but not for much longer.

Aspiring home-owners could make hefty savings on the price of their dream property in Lincolnshire if they act quickly at Taylor Wimpey’s Isaac’s Place development of houses for sale in Grantham.

Stamp duty is currently suspended for first-time buyers purchasing any property for sale in Grantham below £250,000, but from 24th March the one per cent tax is being reintroduced on all homes costing between £125,000 and £250,000.

Savvy buyers are being urged to act without delay to ensure they complete their purchase before the deadline – and save up to £1,499 on the cost of three-bedroom new build homes in Grantham at the development.

Janet Robinson, Regional Sales Manager for Taylor Wimpey, says: “The high-quality homes and great location of this high-quality development of houses to buy in Grantham make it the ideal place for would-be purchasers to take their first step onto the Lincolnshire property ladder.

“And with the sun setting on the stamp duty holiday, this is the last chance for first-time buyers in search of properties to buy in Grantham to take advantage of this superb money-saving incentive at Isaac’s Place!”

An exceptional selection of two-bedroom homes is on sale now at Isaac’s Place from as little as £90,396 while three-bedroom houses in Grantham start from £122,995.

The impressive three-bedroom ‘Scarlet’ semi-detached property in Grantham, for example, is priced from only £149,995 and features a contemporary kitchen/dining room, plus a light and airy lounge opening through French doors to the private rear garden, and a handy guest cloakroom completing the ground floor layout.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to two well-proportioned bedrooms and a main bathroom, while the en-suite master bedroom is located on the top floor. Outside, the property benefits from a detached garage.

Like all homes at Isaac’s Place, the ‘Scarlet’ is completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

Selected properties are available with the Government-backed FirstBuy scheme, which lets qualifying first-time buyers secure their new home for just 80% of its purchase price, including a 5% deposit, subject to status. Full details of the FirstBuy initiative are available from the Sales Executive.

Isaac’s Place boasts the tranquillity and breathing space of prime rural Lincolnshire – yet is located just a mile from the huge selection of local facilities in Grantham town centre, including a variety of high street and independent stores.

For leisure time, the town offers an independent cinema, leisure centre with swimming pool, arts centre, theatre and a library, in addition to a wide choice of restaurants, public houses and take away food outlets.

Grantham is also home to health services and schools catering for children of all ages, including Kesteven and Grantham Girls’ School and The King’s Grammar School, notable for educating past pupils Margaret Thatcher and Sir Isaac Newton, respectively. Grantham Preparatory School and Walton Girls High School are both under a mile from Isaac’s Place.

Closer still, a choice of pubs, a newsagent and a fish and chip restaurant are within walking distance of the new homes.

Commuters will appreciate that the development is conveniently located for the region’s major transport routes, with the A1 just over a mile away, while the town’s rail station offers direct services to London in just 70 minutes.
