Crystal Gait's the perfect fit for sports enthusiasts
Miller Homes knew that their Crystal Gait development in Glenrothes, with its mix of stylish properties at prices to suit all pockets, would attract a wide range of buyers.
But there is one group of househunters the company had not quite bargained for – sports enthusiasts.
The housebuilder, which has more than 75 years' experience building quality and affordable homes, is finding that the proximity of Crystal Gait to the replacement Fife Institute is proving to be a big attraction to househunters.
The £21.1 million facility, which will boast swimming pools, a health suite, a gym, an aerobics studio, a sports hall and squash courts, is due for completion next year.
But it is already proving to be a major plus point for househunters considering moving to Crystal Gait.
Anne Marie Britton, sales director of Miller Homes Scotland East, said: “A number of people who have made enquires about Crystal Gait have said that one of the big attractions is the new sports and leisure centre. Having a state-of-the-art facility like that nearby is great for sports enthusiasts and families alike.”
But even without the new centre, Crystal Gait has proved to be a success story, with only seven four bedroom properties remaining.
Starting at £179,000 each of the detached properties, complete with an integral garage, are extremely spacious and the layout has been designed with the modern family in mind. Some of the house styles including the Carsewell and Hughes have en-suite facilities leading form the master bedroom, whereas the Humber has an adjoining room that could be used as a study, dressing room or playroom.
Anne Marie said: “We are not surprised that Crystal Gait is proving so popular. Glenrothes is a great place to live, and our development has the perfect mix of house types, ensuring that it has something for everybody – including sports enthusiasts!”
