Kier Homes will this week unveil the first of its new show homes at its flagship Stamford development, Bowman Mews in Cherryholt Road.

Built on the site of the old Bowman’s stonemason and construction yard, the collection of forty five new homes is a far cry from the standard new homes development. The special heritage and location of Bowman Mews led to a determination from Kier Homes to produce a very special set of designs for the new homes. The result is a collection of town houses and apartments built to reflect the existing local vernacular and to blend seamlessly with the town centre’s traditional Lincolnshire limestone architecture.

The first of these new designs, all named after Tudor nobility, is a 3 bedroom Exeter townhouse. The home has a large living / dining room on the ground floor along with a separate kitchen which gives direct access to the garden. On the first floor the master suite is complemented by an additional sitting room with its own balcony. The second floor completes the house with two further bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom and the second its own “Jack & Jill” bathroom.

Traditional in their appearance and kerb appeal but designed for flexible modern living inside, each new home at Bowman Mews will have a landscaped front garden and private parking behind the beautiful wrought iron gates.

David Thomas, Sales & Marketing Director of Kier Homes comments: “We are delighted to able to show house-hunters in Stamford the first of our new homes at Bowman Mews. We have been determined to produce a collection of homes that did this historic site and the town of Stamford justice. I believe we have done just that and look forward to welcoming anyone who wants to see for themselves.”
