Stanwell House – a boutique hotel in the market town of Lymington on the southern tip of the New Forest National Park – is offering a special two-night, dinner, bed and breakfast break for Easter from £187.50 pp (two sharing).

The Georgian property has just 30 bedrooms including some suites and four-poster beds and, at its heart, is a delightful conservatory.

The conservatory is dog-friendly (as are six of the bedrooms - £15 per dog per night) which means dog owners can enjoy a relaxing morning coffee, informal lunch or dinner with the family pet by their side.

The Seafood at Stanwells restaurant serves a wide choice of dishes, taking advantage of the wealth of fresh, local produce; much of it is sourced from local fishermen.

The Bistro serves contemporary European and caters for even the most discerning tastes, with a choice of menus; A la carte Bistro, Grill, or the eight-course Tasting Menu.

Although the two restaurants are separate, either menu choice can be enjoyed in the conservatory or al fresco on the terrace, weather permitting (dogs and children are not permitted in the main restaurants).

The Easter package includes a Hot Cross Bun and Tea on arrival in the courtyard, two nights’ accommodation in a double or twin room, a bottle of wine which can be enjoyed in the room, a New Forest Breakfast each morning and a table d’hote dinner each evening in either the Bistro or Seafood restaurant.

The Easter break is available between Friday 6 and Monday 9 April.
