Millgate Homes has announced that selling agent Hamptons International will be dealing with the sales at Burford Park, its forthcoming new development of just two executive six-bedroom homes, in Kingswood.

“Millgate Homes is no stranger to building in this area, with three homes sold here last year and three more in nearby Epsom,” Lindsey Smale, associate director at Hamptons, comments. “Judging on past performance, we’re confident that these will be equally well received.”

She continues: “What really sets these homes apart from anything else in Kingswood is the fact that they are being built by Millgate Homes. Millgate’s award-winning reputation precedes itself and we are certainly looking forward to promoting such a prestigious development. Purchasers can expect properties built to the highest specification. Looking at the plans for Burford Park, it’s clear that a great deal of consideration has gone into the design and layout of these individual homes.”

The properties are inspired by Millgate Homes’ award-winning Longwood Manor, in Kenley, which was presented with two accolades in the prestigious Evening Standard New Homes Awards, including the coveted title of ‘New Home of the Year’. They command imposing facades, while their interiors are designed to offer the perfect combination of tradition and sophistication. As one would expect of homes with such pedigree, they offer accommodation on an impressive scale. In the external surroundings, purchasers can expect manicured lawns and established foliage, beautifully designed and planted by Millgate Homes’ Chelsea award-winning landscaper.

It’s the external surroundings and, in particular, the location which will add to the appeal of these properties, as Lindsey explains: “Located in a leafy and secluded spot, off Woodland Way, these properties benefit from a fantastic location. Kingswood is an exclusive area and is desirable to many purchasers, because it is a private estate, providing a peaceful idyll which belies the fantastic road and train links which living here affords.”

With its village atmosphere, quaint shops, local pubs and a good range of eateries, all surrounded by numerous open spaces, it’s easy to forget how conveniently placed Kingswood is for London. The fact that Kingswood station offers regular connections to London Bridge, as well as junction 8 of the M25 being nearby, makes this address all the more sought after.
